The words are engraved using Glagolitic script. Namely, Bosnian language is an indigenous and original linguistic phenomenon, characterized by an interesting curiosity, which in every sense, sets it apart from many other world languages. In its long history, Bosnian language was written in five different scripts: Glagolitic, Cyrillic, Bosnian Cyrillic known as Bosancica, Arabic and Latin. As for us, Glagolitic script was one of the most visually appealing scripts, which is the reason we have decided to use it for Bathinus collection. This surface houses an engraving, which is mostly closely related to the person who wears the ring, whether it is a person's monogram, family crest or simply a beloved symbol. This collection evokes ancient signet rings, which were used as 'seals' and have played a significant role in business and politics within early civilizations. They were used to authenticate documents, papers or letters by the upper echelons of society. Signet rings were traditionally a masculine piece of jewellery, yet over the time they became popular among both men and women. Signet rings is a timeless and versatile accessory that looks as great dressed up as it does dressed down, meaning that you can wear it every day and to any occasion.

A yad, known as a Torah pointer, used by the reader to follow the text during the Torah reading from the parchment Torah scrolls. It is often shaped like a long rod, capped by a small hand with its index finger pointing from it.

Beyond its practical usage in pointing out letters, the yad ensures that the parchment is not touched during the reading. There are several reasons for this: handling the parchment renders one ritually impure and the often-fragile parchment is easily damaged. Moreover, the vellum parchment does not absorb ink so touching the scroll with fingers will damage the lettering.
